Dr. Patricia KopsteinDr. Patricia Philo Kopstein has worked in the field of psychotherapy since 1978. After completing her university studies and practicum in Psychology, Patti extended her post-graduate and post-doctoral studies in Germany, Switzerland, Israel, and the USA. Her studies and research were in the fields of Jungian psychoanalysis, art therapy, spiritual, and mid-life issues.

Having lived in five countries as an adult, she has personally experienced the challenges of cross-cultural (Third Culture), and multi-faith challenges. Dr. Kopstein has practiced psychotherapy and psychoanalysis in the USA, New Zealand, Israel, and Australia. She is a member of The Hong Kong Psychological Society, The Psychotherapy Society of Hong Kong, the International Society for Mental Health Online, the Association for Humanistic Psychology, the International Expressive Arts Association, and the American Psychological Association (APA).

As a psychotherapist, Dr. Patti Kopstein works with clients to explore their specific and personal issues, and to assist them to create resolution plans that work for them. Her special areas of expertise are: anxiety/depression, mid-life and mid-profession issues, bereavement and loss, reproductive issues, aging, self-image, and relocation adjustment.

Dr. Kopstein offers psychoanalysis as an option for those clients who desire in-depth, longer-term therapy to discover their own complex patterns, formative history, and motivation styles to resolve long-standing issues and change their behaviours. Reflective association and dream-work are part of her psychoanalytic approach.
